180 KL/Day Ethanol Plant — Suyash Biofuels

180 KL/Day Ethanol Plant — Suyash Biofuels

A process-ready facility for modern renewable fuel production.

Project overview
The ethanol plant was conceived to support India’s biofuel program. The facility required a smooth flow from feedstock handling to processing, storage, and dispatch, with civil works fully integrated with process layouts. Aakar Infra translated concept and process drawings into practical, buildable, and durable infrastructure capable of continuous operations.

Scope of work

  • Civil foundations for process equipment, tanks, and pipe racks
  • Fermentation, distillation, and storage structures
  • Control room, utility buildings, and MCC areas
  • Roads, stormwater drains, and cable trenches
  • Balance-of-plant works including utilities and offsite facilities

Challenges

  • Limited space between process units for construction
  • Strict quality and environmental standards
  • Coordination with process licensors and equipment vendors

Our approach
We divided the site into zones, scheduling works to avoid clashes with mechanical equipment. Temporary access paths and safe platforms were created to manage congestion. Quality plans were aligned with client audits and regulatory norms. Regular design–site meetings resolved queries quickly, minimizing rework.

Outcome

  • Process-ready ethanol plant supporting renewable fuels
  • Civil works aligned with process layouts and safety standards
  • Smooth integration with mechanical and process teams
  • Modern, compliant facility contributing to sustainability goals
